  11. From Scratch, Version 2.10.  This information applies to individual users
  12. who wish to pass copies out to friends and associates.

  38. software for evaluation purposes for a period not to exceed thirty (30)

  49. program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use
  50. shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  54. Limited Distribution License:

  56. As the copyright holder for From Scratch, Desktop Solutions authorizes
  57. distribution by individuals only in accordance with the following
  58. restrictions.

  60.    (User Groups, Computer Clubs, Disk Vendors and Distributors,
  61.    Subscription Services, Disk-of-the-Month Clubs, etc., should refer to
  62.    the VENDOR.DOC file for complete information relating to them.)

  67. Individuals are hereby granted permission by Desktop Solutions to copy
  68. the From Scratch diskette for their own use (for evaluation purposes) or
  69. for other individuals to evaluate, ONLY when the following conditions
  70. are met.

  72. The From Scratch package is defined as containing all the material
  73. listed in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed in the
  74. PACKING.LST text file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are missing, then
  75. the package is not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please
  76. contact us to obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.

  78.     o  The From Scratch package - including all related program files
  79.        and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must
  80.        be distributed as a complete package, without exception.  The
  81.        PACKING.LST text file contains a list of all files that are part
  82.        of the From Scratch package.

  84.     o  No price or other compensation may be charged for the From
  85.        Scratch package.  A distribution cost may be charged for the cost
  86.        of the diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the total (per
  87.        disk) does not exceed US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00
  88.        internationally.

  90.     o  The From Scratch package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  91.        inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial
  92.        software packaging offer, without a written agreement from
  93.        Desktop Solutions.

  95.     o  The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in
  96.        part, using any means, without the written permission of Desktop
  97.        Solutions.  In other words, the disk-based documentation may not
  98.        be distributed in PRINTED (hardcopy) form.

  100.     o  The From Scratch package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to
  101.        others.
  102.  
  103.     o  Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  104.        decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer
  105.        the licensed program except as provided in this agreement.  Any
  106.        such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  107.        termination of this license.

  109.     o  U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by
  110.        the U.S. Government of the computer software and documentation in
  111.        this package shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable
  112.        to commercial computer software as set forth in subdivision
  113.        (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software
  114.        clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The
  115.        Contractor/manufacturer is Desktop Solutions, 34 Inwood Rd,Port
  116.        Washington, NY, 11050.
